# Trello

> Configure the mAItion Trello connector to ingest cards from Trello boards.

Use the Trello Connector to ingest cards from [Trello](https://trello.com/) boards into the mAItion knowledge base.

## What It Does

* reads cards from configured Trello boards, or all boards accessible to the account when none are specified
* converts card content to Markdown for indexing
* optionally ingests card comments alongside card content
* runs ingestion on configurable schedules

## Required Environment Variables

Set these in `.env.rag`:

* `TRELLO1_API_KEY`: Trello API key
* `TRELLO1_API_TOKEN`: Trello API token
* `TRELLO1_BOARD_IDS`: optional, comma-separated board IDs; omit to ingest all boards
* `TRELLO1_SCHEDULES`: ingestion interval in seconds (default is `3600`)

## `config.yaml` Example

      api_key: "${TRELLO1_API_KEY}"
      api_token: "${TRELLO1_API_TOKEN}"

## Configuration Reference

| Field | Required | Default | Description |

| `enabled` | no | `true` | Set to `false` to skip this source entirely |
| `api_key` | yes | — | Trello API key |
| `api_token` | yes | — | Trello API token |
| `board_ids` | no | all boards | Comma-separated list of board IDs to restrict ingestion to; omit to ingest all boards accessible to the account |
| `load_comments` | no | `false` | Whether to ingest card comments along with card content |
| `max_comments` | no | `10` | Maximum number of comments to ingest per card, when `load_comments` is enabled |
| `schedules` | no | `3600` | Ingestion interval in seconds |

## Multiple Trello Sources

Add more `sources` entries (`trello2`, `trello3`, etc) with separate env vars per source.
